About this Dish
Gyejang (raw marinated crab) is a dish made by marinating fresh crabs in either soy or chili pepper marinade. It is paired with rice to balance out its salty and spicy taste.
How to Eat
First, gently pull apart or cut the crab into two pieces. Then by using your hand or by biting, squeeze out the meat from the body. Pair each bite with rice to balance the rich taste from the crab.

In Korean, yangnyum gyejang is often called a “bap doduk”, bap meaning rice and doduk meaning thief, aka rice thief. It's called a rice thief because you'll steal bowls and bowls of rice for this one.
How to Eat
Gently pull the crabs apart and cut off the ends of the legs where there is no meat. Cut off the claws, then make cracks in the large leg so that the sauce can get inside, and so that it is easier to eat later.
